Apparently, a Grand Theft Auto 6 leaker could be a Rockstar Games developer’s own son.
Earlier today, some unconfirmed reports claimed that the second leak that’s been breaking the internet (and Rockstar’s heart) came from the son of a Rockstar Games employee. The short video was trending on TikTok earlier, showing an overview of the unreleased map.
The TikTok video shows a sweeping look at Vice City, which developers have all but confirmed to be the location of Grand Theft Auto 6. Vice City is based in Miami, Florida, and was used in a previous GTA title.
While it’s exciting for those who don’t mind spoilers to finally get a look at the expansive Vice City map, it’s most definitely a bad day for Rockstar, its employees, and one of their kids.
Leaking is looked down upon by the gaming community, and it’s also against the law in some cases. It’s definitely possible that the son and/or his parent will get in trouble at work or beyond.
It hasn’t been totally confirmed who the leaker is this time around, however, so we’ll have to wait and see what unfolds from the chaos. Meanwhile, the official Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is scheduled to come out tomorrow, so stay tuned.
