Fortnite is one of the most regularly updated AAA games, and a trailer reveals teases at the theme for Chapter 4 Season 3 of Fortnite.

Fortnite splits its years into chapters with four seasons. These quarterly seasons take fans on exciting new journeys alongside updates to the island. A newly released teaser trailer has given fans their first look at what the next season might look like. This Chapter has seen the island assembled from various dimensions. This island has been melding time periods and aesthetics as the island continues to be completely overhauled.

Chapter 4 Season 3 trailer hints at ruins

A new teaser trailer for Chapter 4 Season 3 of Fortnite was released earlier today, and it shows off a substantial hint at what might be coming. In the trailer, various Fortnite personas find themselves on the edge of a cliff as an earthquake strikes. A huge crater forms in front of them, the ground falling away to reveal a massive hole in the middle of the map, at the bottom of which is heavy foliage and a mysterious stone structure. This seems like fans’ first look at the new change to the map.

Fortnite has seen a medieval era in Season one, known as Oathbound. It also had a Japanese Cyberpunk era via Fortnite MEGA. It seems like the middle section of the map, which can be identified by other locations on the horizon, will be changed. The new trailer shows off a mysterious stone temple, which could bring a new ancient era to the island. Every season has seen a melee weapon that doubles as mobility, with the Kinetic Blade and Shockwave Hammer. This new season will likely add another iconic weapon that will define the game.

The new season is slated to arrive on June 10, so fans don’t have to guess what’s going on for long. The current Fortnite season is slated to end on June 9.
