Fortnite 10.00 introduces Tilted Town, automatic sniper rifle

Fortnite version 10.00 is here, and that means new weapons, map changes, and limited time modes.

The automatic sniper rifle is Fortnite’s newest weapon addition. The full-auto long ranged gun has projectiles that travel faster than all other sniper rifles. Using medium ammo, the automatic sniper rifle can do up to 35 damage, or 70 with a headshot.

It can be found in rare, epic, and legendary variants by searching floors, chests, vending machines, supply drops, and loot carriers.

The update also brings about some newly unvaulted weapons. But they only spawn in Tilted Town. This includes the double barrel shotgun, six shooter, hunting rifle, and the infantry rifle. Players may notice that these weapons are all a bit old school. That’s because Tilted Town, which used to be Neo Tilted, has some other big changes.

Neo Tilted is “not so neo anymore,” states the patch notes. A Rift Zone has turned the futuristic drop zone into a wild west settlement.

“What’s even wilder than this western twist is that building and harvesting are prohibited!” developers noted.

A new LTM is also available for Fortnite players. Arsenal has players working through all the weapons, from higher rarities to lower rarities. Similar to Counter-Strike’s gun game, the first player to get an elimination with the final weapon wins. This mode features infintite ammo.

This update comes soon after the start of Season X, which brought about a lot of changes to the game. The biggest change was the B.R.U.T.E, and that didn’t sit well with competitive players. The giant two-player mech is already getting a nerf, according to Epic Games, after it was met with a massive amount of complaints.
