Will Evil Geniuses cement its standing or will beastcoast claim its first win in the tournament?

Evil Geniuses vs. beastcoast betting analysis

Evil Geniuses remains America’s top team despite loss in its previous tournament

Evil Geniuses looks poised to reclaim the top spot in the Americas region. Fans were surprised to see Evil Geniuses fall short in ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online. The team had a shaky group stage run and entered the playoffs through the losers’ bracket.

The playoffs stage went poorly for Evil Geniuses, too. CR4ZY scored a huge win against Evil Geniuses to claim the grand finals slot. Quincy Crew ended up as the grand champions after stomping CR4ZY in the final series.

Evil Geniuses is looking to rebound with this lineup lineup:

  1. Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
  2. Eric “Ryoya” Dong
  3. Andreas Franck “Cr1t-” Nielsen
  4. Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi
  5. Tal “Fly” Aizik

Outside that loss, the American powerhouse has claimed regional championship titles with little difficulty. The slump in its performance might just be a brief underperformance, though the team is also still dealing with frequent stand-ins and substitutions.

beastcoast is the leading South American Dota 2 team

beastcoast is the best South American team in a live setting. Online, not so much.

Tournament organizers decided to combine North America and South America in their online leagues and that has posed serious issues for many South American teams as they deal with connectivity issues. beastcoast previously stated that it was going to stop competing in intercontinental tournaments for this reason, but it went back on that for this event. This has come back to bite them a bit, as they’ve once again struggled to perform.

beastcoast was the first to exit from ESL One Birmingham 2020 and it is currently on pace to do the same here. Offsetting this are strong showings in dedicated South American leagues such as Realms Collide and ESL One Los Angeles.

beastcoast will compete with its full lineup:

  1. Héctor Antonio”K1” Rodríguez
  2. Jean Pierre “Chris Luck” Gonzales
  3. Adrián “Wisper” Céspedes Dobles
  4. Elvis “Scofield” De la Cruz Peña
  5. Joel Mori “MoOz” Ozambela

Evil Geniuses vs. beastcoast BTS Pro Series Americas betting analysis

Evil Geniuses and beastcoast were pitted against each other several times in the past, with Evil Geniuses often emerging victorious. Markets are not yet open on this matchup on Winners.bet, but the NA staple should enter as an enormous favorite.

beastcoast’s chances of winning even one map are close to nil, even with Cr1t- playing off-role for Evil Geniuses after the substitution of Kitrak. The best option for bettors would be looking to prop bets or parlays because a bet on beastcoast is a Hail Mary play.
