The winner of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship will finally be crowned when DWG KIA takes on EDward Gaming in the event’s grand final.

It will be a battle between defending world champion DWG KIA and the challenger from the LPL, EDG, who are looking to take the trophy back to China after one year’s absence. The match is looking to be extremely competitive and thus a tough call for bettors.

The last time DWG KIA was playing an international final was at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational, where it fell short to China’s Royal Never Give Up. This time around, DWG KIA will be doing everything in its power to get revenge on the LPL and reclaim the title of absolute best team in the world.

EDG will be entering the match as an underdog, having never played in a Worlds final before. EDG is a team that can surprise everyone and needs to prove that its players can withstand the pressure that DWG KIA has been thriving in ever since winning the Summoner’s Cup last year.

It will be a match between two very skilled teams individually, but that likely won’t take the entire focus. A Worlds final is all about teamwork and coordination. Both teams have an incredible ability to team fight, which should make up for a great match. The question is if DWG KIA is just too good, or if EDG can stun the whole with an upset.

End Worlds 2021 on a high note with the Fandex stock exchange

In the final, it will also be the last chance to participate in the League of Legends esports stock exchange on Fandex. The Fandex stock game has been available to spice up every match for the entirety of Worlds 2021 and will do the same during the final.

The final will have a clear favorite in DWG KIA, meaning that the Korean team’s stock likely won’t climb much further even if the team manages to win. The DWG KIA stock has been good over the course of the tournament, but a lot of it has been expected. This leaves the DWG KIA stock at a price of $17.65 before the final.

Despite making it all the way to the final, the EDG stock has been more volatile throughout the tournament. This can be either good or bad depending on when the stock has been bought. Prior to the final, the EDG price is at $14.07 and could potentially give a big final profit if the LPL team manages to take home the trophy.

DWG KIA favored to defend Worlds title against EDG

As the defending world champion and two-time LCK champion this year, it’s hard not to put DWG KIA as the clear favorite in this one. The bookmakers tend to agree with that, as DWG KIA is favored by a large margin going into the match. Since it’s the Worlds final, anything can happen and no win is ever assured. EDG still has plenty of room to create an upset, but it will likely require the best series that the team has ever played.

The hard thing about beating DWG KIA is that its players rarely ever have bad days. Some players might have bad individual games, but that won’t be enough for an opponent to win when it takes three games. DWG KIA is the definition of consistency in professional League of Legends right now, which makes it the obvious choice for a Worlds winner.

Being such a big favorite also mean that DWG KIA won’t give a lot of money back for winning with odds at 1.27. Meanwhile, big bucks can be made from EDG winning with odds at 3.40. Betting on EDG will be could potentially give the best value.

The biggest clash of the year in League of Legends will be between DWG KIA and EDG and it kicks off on Saturday, November 6.
