Did Arkosh Gaming just confirm the identities of its players?
Arkosh Gaming has become a fan favorite in the western Dota 2 scene, and the organization is looking to use that to grow further.
The organization has announced the signing of a stream team that includes several of North America’s top Dota 2 personalities. The list includes Brian “BSJ” Canavan, Andrew “Jenkins” Jenkins, Jason “Newsham” Newsham, and Shaggy. The signings were announced in a post on
Reddit.
“These content creators will not only make content videos about the games, but they will also STREAM ANY ARKOSH GAMING GAMES ON THEIR PERSONAL TWITCH STREAMS! Your favorite players, GREMLOW, PALE HORSE, DR. CROW, AND CANUS VULPUS will directly stream their perspective to a random player,” Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner said in a statement.
Though this announcement isn’t a confirmation of Arkosh Gaming’s lineup, it effectively confirms that most of the past rumors about the roster are likely true. Though Slacks said that the remaining members of Arkosh would be broadcasting their screens to a “random player,” this is a thin veil over official confirmation of the roster.

Arkosh Gaming also announced the addition of a fifth player, Cerberus. Cerberus joins the team to replace Nick “GOD_Z” Zhang, who announced his retirement ahead of the qualifiers to The International 2021 and confirmed that he was the player who had been competing with Arkosh as G.O.A.T.
It’s unknown who Cerberus is, but the most likely candidate is Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling who replaced GOD_Z in the TI10 qualifiers. That said, there are many other former pro players who could step in as well. Slacks stated that Cerberus will be changing positions as needed, with the ability to play as a carry, support, or mid.
Who is on the Arkosh Gaming roster?
While officially the team is registered using their death metal-inspired names, the announcement of Arkosh Gaming’s stream team effectively confirmed the team’s roster. The lineup likely includes the following players:
- Brian “BSJ” Canavan
- Andrew “Jenkins” Jenkins
- Jason “Newsham” Newsham
- Shaggy
Arkosh Gaming is a unique team within the Dota 2 space, competing under pseudonyms while maintaining a wacky persona both in-game and publicly. Despite initially being formed for a series of showmatches, the team began competing in real tournaments and later qualified for the North American Dota Pro Circuit League.
When the next Dota Pro Circuit season begins, Arkosh Gaming will begin the season in the upper division, a first for the team.
