Below are some of the top professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players’ settings from major pros like Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz.

CSGO players are free to copy them into their configuration file or autoexec, but there are some things they have to keep in mind.

Just because pro players use a certain crosshair or viewmodel doesn’t mean that it’s the best version. Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski of Team Liquid, for example, uses what looks like a tan crosshair to most people. But because EliGE suffers from colorblindness, he sees it differently.

Settings will always come down to personal preference, and players shouldn’t switch everything up because their favorite pro says so. That said, playing around with a viewmodel or crosshair style to find the perfect fit is definitely worth it.

Sometimes fans don’t know what’s best for their Counter-Strike settings until they try it. Users should make a copy of their own settings or config files first and place them on their desktop. That way, they can always go back to what’s comfortable with an easy drag and drop if they don’t like the changes they’ve made.

Note: These pro CSGO players use a Windows sensitivity of “6” unless listed otherwise.
