Cheating is one of the most frustrating parts of free shooters like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This made it all the more satisfying when a blatant hacker was met with some karma.
After being around for over 10 years, CSGO has become
riddled with cheaters. You’ll probably encounter one at least once every few matches, especially if you’re on non-prime matchmaking. Unfortunately, Valve hasn’t come up with an impactful solution to remove hackers, and the player base has been left frustrated.
That made it all the more satisfying when the cheater got embarrassed mid-hack.
CSGO hacker punished live
A clip recorded by CSGO Overwatch immediately went viral on Reddit, with Counter-Strike players rejoicing over the hacker’s demise.
In the popular clip, the hacker is clearly using wall hacks that allow him to see where his opponent is through solid surfaces and objects. Carrying an AWP, the unsuspecting hacker starts attempting to wall bang through the ceiling since the victim is above him.
This doesn’t work, so the hacker starts backing up in hopes of getting a clear view. At this point, he is able to get a better glimpse of the enemy’s head. As he’s ready to headshot his wannabee victim, the hacker realizes too late that he’s no longer on a safe surface.
The hacker ends up falling to his death, allowing CSGO players to let out a sigh of relief. Justice was served.
“Bro forgot the world has floors, not only walls,” wrote one CSGO player.
Added another: “This guy needs the fall hack cheat.”
