The rumors are true: Conduit is the next legend joining Apex Legends.
In the latest Stories From the Outlands, titled “For Us, Utang na Loob,” fans got their first look at Conduit, the long-awaited legend from the Philippines. The video starts off with a horrifying attack, only for Monarch bots to come in and sacrifice themselves to save the community.
“I don’t remember much from back then. But I do remember when heroes fell from the sky,” Conduit said.

After the stand-off, there’s peace in her community. The video shows Conduit eating dinner and goofing off with her family, even pretending to be other legends in the Apex Games. When her mother shows up hurt, however, Conduit decides she wants to be like Monarch and protect her family.
She ends up entering a blocked off area full of radiation. There, she sees the remains of a Monarch bot and some toxic liquid leaking all over the ground. One touch of a radioactive object and she sees power coursing through her.
“It’s my turn now,” she said, going in for more.
What are Conduit’s abilities in Apex Legends?
Conduit has
finally been revealed
and her backstory is definitely one that resonates with a lot of players. Many loved the callbacks to Titanfall and the anime-inspired animation. But what will Conduit exactly do in-game?
Luckily, one of the many leaks leading up to this announcement has filled us in on the legend’s possible kit:
Tactical: Arc Flash: Deals damage to Conduit’s shields to give targeted allies an overshield
Passive: Capacitance: Conduit’s base health is 50 health and 50 shield, instead of 100 health. Conduit gradually regenerates shield over time
Ultimate: Short Circuit: Conduit channels their shields into a giant arc ball that flies across the battlefield, stealing shields from enemies
Remember, nothing has been confirmed just yet. Once Season 19 gets closer, Respawn Entertainment will most definitely provide a gameplay trailer and more for Conduit.
