Who is TenZ

Valorant esports is packed with talented players who transferred from other games, but Tyson TenZ Ngo’s captivating journey sets him apart from the rest.

Sentinels duelist TenZ is considered one of the most mechanically gifted players to have ever touched the game. Since Valorant’s initial release in 2020, TenZ has switched two teams and even briefly given up on competitive play. But his comeback changed Valorant esports for good as he made a mark with a new team.

Why did TenZ leave CSGO?

TenZ quit competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2019 and took to Twitch to pursue a career in content creation. Before his departure from competitive CSGO, he played for Cloud9 for just under four months and was eventually benched in favor of Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik. His short experience at Cloud9 wasn’t anything to write home about. TenZ had various issues with teammates and with the team in general, as he explained during a Twitch stream.

TenZ quickly jumped on the Valorant hype bandwagon when it was released in 2020, becoming the first North American player to hit the highest rank of Radiant. His impeccable gunplay and game knowledge helped him to become a big name in the Valorant streaming community. In 2021, TenZ had accrued over 2.1 million followers on his Twitch channel.

Why did TenZ leave Cloud9 Valorant?

After transitioning to Valorant in 2020 when the game was still in beta, TenZ became Cloud9’s first-ever pro Valorant player. Unfortunately, his unmatched skills failed to help C9 break through the top teams in the world. A stagnancy in team performance led TenZ to step down from pro play and return to the streaming career he had placed on stand-by.

Sentinels roped TenZ back into the competitive scene for its run at Valorant’s first LAN event Masters 2. The decision boded well for the team as it secured the top spot at the event with TenZ leading the way. The Canadian superstar truly earned his stripes as the best Valorant player after his insane showing at Masters 2.

What was TenZ’s buyout?

Sentinels bought TenZ out of his contract for a whopping $1.25 million buyout, according to several reports. The deal was orchestrated in April 2021, and it had a purchase clause included in it. The purchase was officially made when Sentinels lost its fifth player, Jay “Sinatraa” Won, amid much controversy.

Who is TenZ’s girlfriend?

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is in a romantic relationship with fellow streamer Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko. The couple made their social media debut together in 2020. Since going public with their relationship on social media, they’ve regularly uploaded fun new content on TikTok.

Kydae is student majoring in biology who’s currently a full-time content creator for 100 Thieves, a rival organization to TenZ’ Sentinels.

What’s TenZ Valorant mouse sensitivity?

TenZ is known for constantly changing his sensitivity in order to experiment with new play styles and to keep himself on his toes. He’s currently using 0.48 sensitivity on 800 DPI, but it changes frequently. Here are TenZ’s other settings in Valorant
