Atrioc ban

Twitch streamer Brandon “Atrioc” Ewing was recently banned from the platform and fans finally know why.

Atrioc was suspended from Twitch on Friday, September 24. The ban seemed very sudden, causing fans to ponder why the League of Legends player was booted from the platform. Atrioc himself was silent about the situation, leading to even more speculation.

But a recent tweet gave away the reason behind Atrioc’s suspension.

Why was Atrioc banned?

A fan of Atrioc captured the moment that got Atrioc banned from Twitch.

The clip, which they shared on Twitter, showed that Atrioc was casually clicking through Wikipedia pages during a Just Chatting session. While searching for “erection,” “human penis,” and “arousal,” Atrioc stopped on a page that had an image of a flacid penis.

Atrioc somehow didn’t seem to notice that the photo was on the screen and it remained there for quite some time.

Twitch doesn’t allow sexual images on the platform. Other streamers have gotten in trouble for similar offenses, including Imane “Pokimane” Anys receiving a warning for accidentally showing a porn ad pop-up and Sebastian “Forsen” Fors being banned for over a month when he unknowingly opened a GIF that depicted horse genitalia.

This was Atrioc’s first ban so he most likely won’t be gone too long.

Who is Atrioc?

Atrioc is a Twitch streamer from San Jose who is known for his controversial Just Chatting streams. He currently has 164,000 followers on Twitch and 185,000 on YouTube. Interestingly enough, Atrioc has worked for Twitch on its marketing team, according to LinkedIn.

Many fans of the streamer believe that he intentionally got himself banned.
