Controversial OnlyFans model Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was crowned the most-viewed female streamer on Twitch in 2021. But her accomplishment hasn’t come without drama, bans, and pushback from the gaming community due to her sexualized streams.

In a recent interview with VICE, Amouranth revealed that she also had to deal with the reaction from her own conservative parents, which seems a bit tough for a CENTERFOLD model and hot tub streamer. It was apparently a hard topic for Amouranth to open up about, but she appeared candid in discussing it.

Amouranth opens up about tough childhood

Amouranth first mentioned that she owes her work ethic to herself. Growing up, Amouranth explained that she was often just plopped down in front of a TV because her parents were busy with work. She “never saw people working crazy hard,” Amouranth revealed, saying that she was alone without many role models and friends.

“I felt very lonely and unsatisfied,” Amouranth said.

Despite the unsatisfying upbringing, Amouranth has managed to make a name for herself. She has not only become one of the most popular streamers and adult content creators in the world, she has used her income to invest in convenience stores, gas stations, and stocks. She has also become one of the founding content creators on CENTERFOLD, Playboy’s OnlyFans competitor.

It appears as though Amouranth’s smart business sense has won over her parents, who were initially not too pleased with Amouranth’s decision to do adult content.

“My parents are very conservative. It’s hard for me to remember their exact words to me when I first started,” Amouranth said.

But her parents seemed to change their mind about Amouranth’s line of work very quickly once they realized how lucrative it was for her. Amouranth said that she showed them her bank account and they “felt a lot better.” Amouranth smiled at the thought, saying it’s “funny” how money can change people’s minds.

It’s unclear how much Amouranth’s parents truly know about her career and the extent of her content creation. Her parents have visited her home where she streams, but have never seen her “hot tub room.” Either way, her large home and equally large income seem to have satisfied her parents for the time being.
