Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa is no stranger to, well, strange fans. But a recent gift from a fan has possibly become one of the weirdest encounters yet.
Ever since leaving her abusive ex-husband, Amouranth has been doing a larger variety of content and has remained one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch. She’s been experimenting with live-streaming dates and playing Overwatch 2. In a recent stream, Amouranth opened some gifts from fans to celebrate her birthday.
And it went just as wildly as you’d expect.
Despite leaving her controlling former partner, some fans are still worried for the streamer’s safety. After all, the man punched a hole in her door and threatened to kill her dogs. One fan took it upon themselves to try and make Amouranth feel even safer.
Inside a box, Amouranth uncovered $70,000 in cash, a new iPhone, and some self-defense products. It also came with a letter.
“I have provided a few defense essentials and some cash. Lastly, I have included a new phone. All you have to do is activate the service. The plan is active and pre-aid. Nobody except you will know the number,” it read.
The letter also included the numbers of two bodyguards the person allegedly knew already. The anonymous sender added their own phone number for good measure, telling her to reach out if she ever needed anything.
Amouranth seemed quite happy with the letter since it didn’t include anything creepy, like asking her to run away with him or begging to suck her toes. To think that this letter is the most normal thing she has received from fans is quite shocking.
“Who are you?” Amouranth asked.
A lot of viewers asked her if the money was fake, but Amouranth said she’d already inspected the cash and found it to be genuine. Others questioned if it was truly an innocent fan or if the gift was a weird, elaborate prank from a streamer like MrBeast.
So far, the identity of the generous gift giver is still a mystery.
