Amouranth banned on Twitch despite twerking on Kick

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has been mysteriously banned on Twitch.

Amouranth announced that she was joining Kick in June, seemingly inspired by Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s $100 million non-exclusive deal with the controversial platform. Despite doing most of her streams on Kick since then, the OnlyFans model found her Twitch account was banned earlier today.

Why was Amouranth banned from Twitch?

On July 18, 2023, Amouranth was hit with a ban on Twitch. While she is no stranger to getting punished on the platform, it’s unclear what led to the decision this time around. Her channel now says it’s “temporarily unavailable” for breaking Twitch’s guidelines.

It’s quite strange that Amouranth got in trouble with Twitch since she only streams on it for about an hour a day. After that, she spends most of her day on Kick in an attempt to grow her audience there.

Kick is known for having pretty loose guidelines, which is the reason many streamers have made the transition. Adin Ross showed porn on the platform a while ago and gambling has become one of the top categories.

Amouranth recently decided to test these guidelines by twerking despite it being a prohibited action under Kick’s guidelines. “Erotic” or “sexually suggestive” dancing is not allowed on the platform, especially if it’s in exchange for money. Despite this, Amouranth decided to start throwing it back while DJing during a recent livestream.

Despite breaking the rules, Amouranth still has her Kick channel. She currently has over 100,000 followers on the platform and has over 11,000 viewers on average per stream.

It’s possible that Twitch saw the questionable behavior and banned her on their own platform, something that has happened in the past to other streamers. But neither Amouranth nor Twitch has come forward with any explanation on why she is banned on Twitch despite barely going on it.
