The 2025 iteration of Valorant Champions brought us arguably the best grand final series in Valorant history. North American squad NRG came out of nowhere and booked a spot in the grand final, where they took on European powerhouse Fnatic, who was the best Valorant team in the world in 2025, for all the marbles.
NRG started the series strong with a 2-0 lead in the Best of 5 and even had an 11-1 lead in Game 3. However, NRG would pull off one of the biggest chokes in esports history, fumbling such a massive lead to lose the map. Fnatic would equalize the series 2-2, but NRG avoided the comeback and eventually won the series in five maps.
The winner’s lineup for VCT 2025:
- Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
- Sam “s0m” Oh
