Pokemon come in all shapes and sizes. Some are inspired by objects, and others are inspired by real-life animals like cats. If you are interested in adding these felines to your team, these are all the cat Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Cat Pokemon are cute, but they can also be strong and good members of your team. One of the most recognizable cat Pokemon is Meowth, a notorious member of Team Rocket. Meowth is just one of the cat Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet.

Cat Pokemon and where to find them in Paldea

There are three groups of cat Pokemon in Paldea, Sprigatito, Meowth, Litleo, and their consecutive evolutions. The rarity of these Pokemon varies. Some can be found in the wild, while others require that players complete specific missions.

It doesn’t get more cat than Sprigatito. The word “gatito” translates to “little cat” in Spanish. The number one Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex and grass starter for the game is arguably one of the cutest Pokemon in the entire game. Sprigatito’s evolution Floragato keeps some of its cat-like traits. The best way to secure a Sprigatito is to choose it as your starter.

Meowth and Persian

Meowth and its evolution Persian can be found in Paldea. While some might argue that Normal type Pokemon do not have that many strengths, Persian is a Pokemon that should not be underestimated. It can be a good companion and team member. Additionally, players can find an exclusive Galarian Meowth that evolves into Perrserker.

Litleo and Pyroar

If you prefer a lion Pokemon, Scarlet and Violet have a great option for you in Litleo. This little Pokemon from the Kalos region evolves into Pyroar, which depending on their gender will look like a lion or a lioness. As a dual Fire and Normal type, these Pokemon are ones to keep in mind when putting together a team. These are commonly found in the wild.
