Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel is about to pick up yet another new video game in answering a challenge from a top pro player.

xQc casually picked up Super Smash Bros. during a November 27 stream. Seeing this occurrence, Super Smash Bros. pro Juan “Hungrybox” Debiedma challenged xQc to some matches in Nintendo’s popular fighting game, which xQc immediately accepted.

But the usually cocky xQc couldn’t help but acknowledge Hungrybox’s prominence in Super Smash Bros. Hungrybox is currently the top Super Smash Bros. Melee player in the world, and has been for multiple years now. The Jigglypuff main has also become a notable player in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as a well-known commentator.

xQc couldn’t deny that Hungrybox would most likely have an advantage. Instead of aiming to beat the competitive Smash player, xQc decided to take the challenge as a learning opportunity.

“You better teach me how to not get rolled by bottom one percent players,” xQc told Hungrybox.

xQc is ready to challenge Hungrybox in Smash Bros

The majority of the streaming community seemed excited at the possibility of this unexpected collaboration. Watching Hungrybox completely dominate the usually cocky xQc in Smash Bros seemed like an entertaining stream. Others called both streamers “legends,” interested to see both of the popular content creators come together in general.

Some people were also excited to see xQc rage out in Smash even harder. During his earlier Smash stream, xQc was quite salty after losing to an opponent. He blamed the connection and his opponent for the loss.

“I fucking hate this game. It’s so trash. Holy shit. Oh my god, get a router, man,” xQc ranted. “I can’t dude. This shit is fucking trash! Get me out of here, dude!”

xQc also called the player “poor,” telling them to win enough local tournaments to afford a router.

If xQc became that frustrated after losing in a casual match, it’s quite possible his outcries and salt will become even more extreme when he gets rolled Hungrybox. Of course, it’s also possible that xQc has already accepted his fate and will be a good sport when playing against one of the legendary Smash Gods.

Either way, those matches are sure to be top-notch entertainment for Smash fans and xQc fans alike.
