Worlds analyst's mic cut after giving LowKey Esports ridiculous advice
“Just don’t lose. Kill all their bases. Then you can’t lose. It just won’t happen.”
That was League of Legends commentator Christy “Ender” Friederson’s advice for LowKey Esports as the camera panned away from him at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.
October 7 and 8 have four best-of-five matches to determine the four teams that will advance to the Worlds main event. VCS second seed LowKey Esports was unfortunate enough to draw South Korea’s Damwon Gaming for the do-or-die showdown, a matchup that heavily favored the LCK squad.
Ender was invited to discuss the seemingly one-sided match-up, with the other analysts asking what LowKey could even do against such a formidable opponent.
He immediately became unhinged, ranting and raving that the underdog team should just take all of DAMWON’s towers, kill dragons, and secure baron buffs. Easy. Oh, and they should also challenge the South Korean roster to a best-of-five in Teamfight Tactics. And if all else fails, they can just “unplug their monitors.”
At this point, the camera began to move away from the hysterical Ender as he exclaimed that LowKey could simply “dab on the haters.”
Damwon recovers at LoL Worlds 2019, at LowKey Esports’ expense
As the camera panned away from the frantic Ender, the analyst continued to slide into his fellow commentators to offer more extreme advice. A “note from production” popped up on screen asking for Ender to stop his raving. Finally, his mic was cut and he was silenced once and for all.
Of course, this was all an act to highlight the incredibly long odds that LowKey was facing against Damwon. But Ender’s point was loud and clear.
To everyone’s surprise LowKey actually
kicked off the series
with an upset win, catching Damwon off-guard with lane swaps and building up bot laner Nguyễn Phước “Celebrity” Long Hiệp. Things went off the rails for them from there, though. The Koreans brutalized LowKey with early aggression, conquered their jungle, and took objectives at will to close out the series with a 3-1 win.
LowKey may have to contemplate a new strategy that doesn’t involve unplugging opponents monitors or dabbing on anyone. They’ll have plenty of time to draw up plays as they wait for next season to start.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026
Wasif Ahmed
T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...

KeSPA Cup returns in July 2026 exclusively on Disney+
Hannan Mundia
The KeSPA Cup is slated to return sooner than most expected, though its date and exclusive Disney+ partnership raises some questions. The KeSPA Cup is an annual tournament organized directly by the Korea e-Sports Association. While it doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Riot-organized leagues and events, LCK powerhouses still participate in it. 2025’s KeSPA Cup is still fairly fresh since it took place in December. This year’s tournament ...
