Cat lovers everywhere are excited for the launch of Stray on PlayStation, but the mysterious cat apocalypse game has left some wondering about its launch. Where else can you play Stray when it comes out on July 19?

where gamers become a ginger tabby cat on a lonely journey to find its family in a futuristic, abandoned city. You can use cat-inspired abilities and traits to solve puzzles, explore different areas, and fight off enemies. It’s an experience a lot of gamers want to try out, but unfortunately not everyone will have the chance.

rumored earlier in 2022
that Stray was only coming out for PlayStation. It’s now been confirmed that Stray is going to be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s currently not available for Xbox players and won’t be coming to any of the Microsoft consoles or the Game Pass, nor will it be available on Nintendo Switch.
Can you pre-order Stray on PlayStation?
Stray is currently available for pre-order on the PlayStation store. But for game collectors who want the physical version, including the ultra-deluxe Exclusive Edition, pre-orders have just opened up earlier this week.
The Exclusive Edition can be pre-ordered on iam8bit for $44.99. It comes with a poster, art cards, and a patch. There is also a standard physical copy only available for PlayStation 5. This standard version will cost $39.99 and includes the art cards as well as a physical copy of the game.
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to play the physical copy on July 19. The retail edition for PlayStation 5 will go live and begin shipping on September 20, 2022, more than two months later.
Stray cat backpack announced by Annapurna Interactive
Stray publisher Annapurna Interactive announced a limited edition cat backpack in collaboration with Travel Cat, a pet accessory brand. The special backpack was announced to celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated cat-themed game.
The large backpack features a lot of cat-friendly features, including a round window for cats to look out of and soft padding inside. It also has colorful Stray-inspired touches as well as the Stray logo. There is even a harness that replicates the one worn by the main kitty in Stray, minus the robotic sidekick.
