Cities: Skylines 2 is a highly anticipated city-building simulator that lets you build fast-paced communities from scratch. Is the Realistic City Sim going to be available on Mac?

Cities: Skylines 2 is taking gamers’ breath away with its detailed building capabilities and realistic art style. The trailer was met with applause from fans of the genre who felt it really exceeded expectations after seeing the breathtaking footage after eight years of waiting.

But who will be able to play the game once it’s released in October? Here’s all we know about Cities: Skylines 2 platform availability.

When is Cities: Skylines 2 coming out?

Cities: Skylines 2 is going to be released on October 24, 2023.

The game is already available for pre-order, so you can purchase the game and have it ready for the exact moment it drops. Meanwhile, fans are waiting to hear when the early access is coming. However, smart players are getting their hands on available copies of the game in hopes of being eligible for early access, whenever that opens.

Where can you play Cities: Skylines 2?

The realistic city sim will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. While it’s available on the three major platforms, it looks like Mac is missing.

Unfortunately, Paradox Interactive has not made any official plans to bring Cities: Skylines 2. For now, it’s safe to assume that the game won’t be available for Mac when it launches.

And will it be on Mac later on? Right now, it’s unclear, but you shouldn’t expect it in the near future. We don’t if it would be available on Mac or not, but here’s everything else you need to know about Cities: Skylines 2 before it releases in October, 2023.
