Who is Projekt Melody? Twitch’s most risqué virtual streamer

gabhernandez Published 05/12/2021

Projekt Melody is famous for many things, including her bubbly personality on Twitch. But there’s much more to the popular streamer.

Projekt Melody is an American virtual streamer who operates on popular streaming platforms including Twitch. She is famous for her approach to the digital streaming world. Her merchandise, which includes a variety of mousepads and pillowcases, is also very popular. Melody’s explicit association with streaming and adult entertainment is a first for the industry, and her career has already posed many hard questions about corporate sponsorship, Twitch bans, and streaming culture.

What is Projekt Melody famous for?

Projekt Melody first started as a streamer on Twitch. Her original introduction was a series of glitchy social media posts that slowly turned into a fully-voiced and sentient “artificial intelligence.” In reality, a live actress provides Melody’s movements and voice. In addition to Twitch streaming, she is also active on other sites that cater to a more adult audience. That part of her career is arguably more famous than her Twitch streaming, though both certainly contribute to the popularity of the other.

On top of her popularity as an internet personality, Projekt Melody is also an important figure in the western virtual YouTubing world. She was an inaugural member of VShojo, the first western agency for virtual talent. Several famous VTubers are signed to the company, including Veibae, Nyatasha Nyanners, and Ironmouse.

What games does Projekt Melody stream?

Over recent months, Projekt Melody has primarily streamed in the Just Chatting category. Some of Projekt Moody’s most-played games include Minecraft, skribbl.io, Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion, and Pokemon. She has recently been streaming Metal Wolf Chaos XD, a remastered mecha shooter by From Software.

According to Twitch Tracker, Melody’s channel has an all-time viewership peak of 15,896 concurrent viewers. She boasts more than 500,000 followers on the popular streaming platform.
