To celebrate May the 4th, Fortnite has brought Star Wars characters and skins back, but there’s a small twist. Darth Vader is no longer easy to beat and doesn’t spawn at random locations. So, where can you find Darth Vader in Fortnite?

The Fortnite x Star Wars crossover runs from May 3 to May 17, 2024. The developers have added new Star Wars skins, including Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and Dagobah Luke — the fourth Luke Skywalker variation. However, players are more excited about coming face-to-face with Darth Vader and even beating him.

Darth Vader location in Fortnite

Darth Vader can be found at Lavish Lair at Piney Lane Landmark on the Fortnite map.

The last time Darth Vader came to Fortnite, he’d arrive at random locations at the beginning of each game. Players could anticipate his location, thanks to the noise made by a loud ship that Darth Vader occupied. This time, his location is confirmed, which should make beating him easy, but that is not the case.

This time, you’ll have to beat two Stormtroopers to defeat Darth Vader and acquire his coveted lightsaber. Beating him won’t be easy because his Stormtroopers can actually aim. In order to get to him, it’s recommended to first kill his Stormtroopers and then wait until he throws his lightsaber. Once that happens, begin dealing damage with either a powerful weapon like Wookie Bowcaster or a dead Stormtrooper’s weapon.

You may want to keep him distracted in order to successfully beat him because Darth Vader can block bullets and pull players in closer before hitting them with his lightsaber. So, facing him up close can get you in hot waters.

After beating him, you can pick up his lightsaber and add it to your exclusive inventory. The lightsaber can block out incoming bullet damage and deal high damage, making it a dangerous weapon.
