When is Soul Fighter coming out?
When is Soul Fighter coming out? The big summer event for League of Legends already has its release date.
League of Legends has a way to make the summer events special. Every year, Riot Games delivers a unique experience for players across multiple titles. Previous summer events included Spirit Blossom and Star Guardians, which featured interactive storylines. In 2023, the summer event, Soul Fighter, promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Like all previous summer events, Soul Fighter takes place in an alternative universe. In this colorful and diverse universe, competitors take part in the Tournament of Souls hosted by God’s Eye. Soul Fighter takes inspiration from fighting games and anime tournament arcs.
League of Legends, TFT, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift will all have special content related to Soul Fighter. As expected, League of Legends will include a new game mode, a 2v2v2v2 arena mode.
In the arena mode, each team starts with 20 HP. The duos face each other through different rounds until only one team is left standing. In between the rounds, teams can buy items and receive augments.
In the client, players will have the chance to go through the Tournament of Souls as Samira. It is a style-rating-focused combo-battler. With every victory, Samira gains a Reputation. The goal is to defeat all ten opponents and become the tournament’s champion. Each victory will grant rewards, and players will be able to unlock the Story and more difficulty levels.
Soul Fighter Release Date
Soul Fighter will run for six weeks in League of Legends, TFT, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift.
The event will arrive with patch 13.14 on July 20 and will run through August 28. The 2v2v2v2 arena mode is currently available on PBE. Whoever has a PBE account can try it now.
