Riot recently updated Valorant’s controller lineup with Clove and added a bunch of new cosmetics in Valorant Episode 8 Act 2. When does Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 start?
Valorant Episode 8 rolled in with a feisty controller, Clove. With their butterflies and post-death smokes, Agent 25 has already earned their stripes in the controller roster. But the next act may bring more updates and agent tweaks to adjust Clove into the meta.
So, if you’re eager to restart your rank grind and find yourself wondering when does Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 start, keep reading.
Riot has yet to reveal the exact release date of Valorant Episode 8 Act 3, but it will likely begin at the end of April or the beginning of March. If Act 3 begins in April, the entire season should conclude in July, starting a brand new Episode 9 in Valorant.
Each Valorant act lasts for roughly two months. Since Act 2 began in early March, it should wrap up by April’s end. If we look at the duration of previous acts in Valorant, most acts end a few days before completing the two-month mark. This means the new act will start on either April 30 or March 2.
So far, not much is known about the content of Act 3, but eager players are anticipating a new map, previously leaked as Bastion. However, it’s unlikely that the new map will be released in the upcoming act, considering Clove is still finding their footing in the meta.
Riot may toss a curveball and release a TDM map in Act 3, but that’s still a long shot. Still, players are looking forward to new content and hopefully a skin collection better than the recently released Switchback in Valorant.
