October is here and GTA players know what that means. It is time for the 2023 GTA Online Halloween update.

Halloween is one of the biggest events of the year for the GTA players. This update usually brings limited-time spooky content, missions, and other fun Easter Eggs to discover.

GTA is also no stranger to leaks. Data miners are hard at work, figuring out everything that is to come in the game. The 2023 GTA Online Halloween update leaks started rolling out as early as June of this year.

Everything Included in the 2023 GTA Online Halloween Update

Every year, the GTA Online Halloween update includes an event, cosmetic elements, and a vehicle. In 2023, the main event will be a ghost hunt.

Players will have to travel to multiple locations on the map to search for ghosts. The ghosts will spawn at specific times between 8 P.M. and 6 A.M. for a total of ten ghosts. Players must photograph at least nine ghosts to get the tenth and special ghost.

Any respectable ghost hunter needs a car for the job. According to the leaks, players who complete the ghost hunt mission will receive the Albany Brigham, which you might recognize as the Ectomobile from the Ghostbusters franchise.

Animals will be making an appearance during the Halloween event. Players will encounter possessed animals like boars and coyotes. The exact purpose of these animals is unknown at the moment.

Halloween-themed decoration items like tombstones and coffins will be added to the map. Other items that are likely to be added are spooky-themed clothes, masks, and hats.

The exact date for the 2023 GTA Online Halloween update is unclear. In previous years, Rockstar made it a month-long event. On October 3 GTA received a scheduled update. Perhaps the next update will see the release of the Halloween content.
