Do you think you know Fortnite back to front? A new game will put your knowledge to the test. Here’s how to play Fortnite GeoGuessr.

Fortnite has over a dozen futuristic locations that mold with season changes. Weather, accidents, and catastrophes significantly impact each map’s appearance across new Fortnite chapters. For these reasons and others, players may have difficulty remembering the scenery of the map’s locations. But Fortnite fanatics may still feel up to the challenge.

GeoGuessr puts Fortnite players through the ultimate test of fandom. The game does a great job of filtering through only the biggest and most knowledgeable fans.

What’s Fortnite GeoGuessr?

Baller Fortnite

GeoGuessr is a geography game in which you are dropped somewhere in the world in a street view panorama, and your mission is to find clues and guess your location on the world map.

It’s a pretty popular game that many play to kill time. Fortnite GeoGuessr works similarly, but with virtual locations on in-game Fortnite maps. Players will be tossed across random maps in a particular season and chapter. Using the scenery and context clues, players must make their best guess to prove their Fortnite fandom and knowledge.

How to play Fortnite GeoGuessr

To play Fortnite GeoGuessr, click on this link. You will be taken to a new website where you’ll have to add certain game-related information for free before you drop off in a virtual location.

First, pick a season you want to play in. If you’re feeling feisty, you may also select “a full history” to guess maps throughout Fortnite’s full game history. Once you’ve made the pick, the game will provide more customization options. You can also queue with friends and randoms to take the fun to a new level. After selecting the game mode, you’ll find yourself on a Fortnite map. Use the mouse to drag the camera angle and identify clues.

Select pin placements on the map at the bottom of the screen when you’re ready to make your guess. If you have failed to recognize the spot, zoom in on the map to match the color and scenery. Take note of water, desert, or mountains and compare them to the mini-map before finalizing an answer. Click on the yellow “make a guess” icon to lock your answer. You will be rewarded with points based on how close your answer was.
