Venom 3 release date and title announced
Sony Pictures has revealed Venom 3’s official title as well as an earlier release date.
It’s been a rough couple of years for Sony Pictures after underwhelming releases like Madame Web. Despite the negative feedback over its treatment of superhero movies, Venom 3 is moving full steam ahead. In fact, it’s now coming out even earlier.
Venom 3 release date changed
Sony Pictures is now planning to release Venom 3 on October 25, 2024. The film was previously set to come out on November 8.
Despite being moved up a bit, there’s still no trailer for the slightly anticipated third Venom film. This is most likely because Venom 3 is still being filmed as of now.
Venom: The Last Dance title revealed
Along with an earlier release date, Sony shared the official name of Venom 3 — The Last Dance.
Superhero movie fans are wondering what this title could possibly mean for the film’s plot and the franchise’s future. It seems like this is possibly the last time Tom Hardy will appear as Eddie Brock and Venom. Or it could be an especially intense film that ends with Eddi and Venom dying or parting ways.
Either way, Venom: The Last Dance is the final installment of the trilogy. It will revolve around Venom being teleported to the MCU thanks to the multiverse. We won’t know a lot of specifics until we see the first trailer.
