Loki Season 2 is almost here. The god of mischief is returning for a second season, and here is everything you need to know before the premiere on Disney+.
Loki is the MCU’s favorite anti-hero. His brother Thor might have three movies, but Loki has what many consider the best Marvel TV show. The first season of Loki was a massive success, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that it was renewed for season 2.
In the first season, Loki is taken to the Time Variance Authority, where he is judged for his crimes against Sacred Timeline. Before being sentenced, Loki is recruited by the TVA to assist them in capturing a Loki variant known as Sylvie. Loki and Sylvie uncover the truth about the TVA, causing the collapse of the barriers that protect reality from the multiverse. The show served as an introduction to Kang, the main villain of the Multiverse Saga.
Upon returning to the TVA, Loki discovers that everything has changed. No one in the TVA remembers him, and they are now openly worshiping one of Kang’s variants.
Loki is now on a mission to remind the TVA who the real villain is and recover the friendships he made along the way. To make things worse, Loki is “time slipping” or being pulled into the past and the future.
Most of the cast of Loki will return for the second season.
Tom Hiddleston as Loki
The god of mischief is now on a mission to save the TVA, the same institution that tried to punish him.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer
An ambitious TVA judge who is willing to become a villain if the job requires it.
Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15
A strong Hunter for the TVA who believes in the law above all.
Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius
A TVA agent who befriends Loki and decides to work with him.}
Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie
A Loki variant who is determined to destroy the Sacred Timeline.
Jonathan Majors as He Who Remains and Victor Timely (Kang variants)
Victor Timely was first introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He is an inventor who lives in the early 1900s.
Ke Huy Quan as O.B.
A TVA repairman who is recruited to fix Loki’s time slipping.
Similar to season one, Loki Season 2 will have six episodes aired on a weekly basis.
The series will debut on Disney+ on October 6.
