CashMeow

Twitch streamer CashMeow is known for his IRL streams. He recently decided to stream a trip to Tokyo, Japan, and things turned violent during a live broadcast there.

CashMeow was filming himself eating a meal outside a restaurant when a group of men approached him. The strangers appeared to be looking for a fight, drinking CashMeow’s water and challenging him. When CashMeow got his camera equipment to film the altercation, one of the men grabbed CashMeow’s selfie stick and seemed to break it.

CashMeow assaulted while streaming in Japan

After the first incident took place, CashMeow returned to Twitch while reporting the assault to local police in Japan. The group took off as soon as the police were called, but CashMeow showed police footage from the unpleasant encounter.

After speaking with police, CashMeow sat down and started chatting with his viewers. But the stream was interrupted when the group returned and started physically attacking him. CashMeow fell off of his seat and could be seen getting punched on camera in a clip, which may be upsetting to some viewers.

After the attack, CashMeow remained calm and told his viewers that he was relieved the men had at least not taken his camera.

The police allegedly discovered the identity of the men thanks to CashMeow and his chat. CashMeow told his fans that the police had at least one of the men in their custody. It’s unclear what will happen on CashMeow’s stream going forward during the rest of his trip.

Who is CashMeow?

CashMeow is a variety streamer who plays Call of Duty: Warzone and Rainbow Six Siege, but he is mostly known for his IRL streams. The Japanese-American streamer often shows off his delicious meals during his streams and loves to post pictures of his cat.
