This sneaky flashbang lineup on Mirage will blind everyone

Slick aim may help you bag kills in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but winning a round is a tall order without utility.

You may use tactical smokes and molotovs to keep enemies away in a post-plant situation, but this new flashbang lineup can win you a game at a low cost. A newly discovered flashbang lineup for Mirage’s A site can make a huge difference in post-plant situations.

If you’ve planted the bomb at triple boxes or default, you may pick firebox as hiding spot if your team has a man advantage. If Counter-Terrorists outnumber you, this spot may get you killed due to lack of cover. After planting the bomb, move deep inside the boxes and wait for the enemy sound queue or a teammates’ callout.

If you have intel that enemies are charging, move yourself against the wall adjacent to the palace and equip flashbang. Place your crosshair in the middle of the last tile, as shown in the image.

Press left click and release the grenade. The flashbang will bounce off the ground and sneak through the tiny gap between the surface and the box. This flash will land a little behind ninja, blinding enemies in CT, jungle, stairs, and any other angle that has clear vision to the A bombsite. It’s a pop flash, so you may want to inform your teammates before throwing grenade so they can turn away.

This flashbang is valuable in both high and low-ranked lobbies due to the unique hidden lineup. The flash pops quickly, denying enemies any time to react and turn away, making this lineup a consistent one on Mirage. Unless you’ve been fried out of firebox by enemies’ Molotovs, this flashbang should work every single time on A site post-plant.

What’s the best map in CSGO?

CSGO has tons of maps, but only some make it into the active duty pool for competitive games. In ranked matches, players like to play Dust 2 thanks to its legacy and strong potential for individual playmaking. Statistically, however, Mirage is one of the most-played maps in CSGO. The map is a top pick of both casual and competitive players.

Mirage was first added to CSGO in 2013 and has since experienced many updates in the years since. Despite minor changes, Mirage remains a top favorite map of CSGO players.
