
The hype around the Overwatch 2 beta is at an all-time high but not everyone will have the chance to play it.
The developers recently announced that hopeful players can get into the beta by watching various livestreams on Twitch. Twitch drops are a common way game developers build hype around upcoming games, but many Overwatch fans were frustrated with the requirements, including watching a minimum of four hours of streams.
To clear up many of the questions and concerns the Overwatch fandom has surrounding the Overwatch 2 beta, developers have released an FAQ on beta participation, including system requirements. Here are the minimum requirements to install in the Overwatch 2 beta.

Not yet. Xbox and PlayStation players won’t be able to play Overwatch 2 until the game’s official release. Developers have said that there will be future betas that include console players as well as PC players. It is unknown when those may come or what hoops players will have to jump through in order to participate.
Blizzard has specified in a recent FAQ that the beta was developed solely for Windows-based PCs. A Mac-specific beta “will not be provided,” developers added, making it seem unlikely there will ever be a beta that works with Mac computers. Odds are that the game usable on Apple hardware, though.
