These are the most popular crosshairs among CSGO players
Crosshairs have a massive impact on your gunplay in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Stats have shown that most players opt for a particular type of crosshair in CSGO both in high and low-ranked games.
Crosshairs are of utmost importance in any shooter game. The type of crosshair you pick may depend on your play style, but most CSGO players have similar preferences. A classic CSGO crosshair should be static, have a medium size, and its color should pop out across all maps, as recent data by
DatHost
has revealed.
Tons of CSGO players have unusual crosshairs like the plain dot briefly used by Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, massive crosshairs that acquire the entire screen, and some that are simply the default dynamic option. However, a particular type of crosshair is being sported by most CSGO players.

DatHast’s stats show that most CSGO players are using style four crosshair without a dot. The classic static crosshair remains stable while shooting or moving, unlike styles 2, 3, and 5. Most CSGO professionals also create their custom settings around style four as it offers more stability. Size also adds tons of value to your aim, and the most-used crosshair has an average size. The green color pops paired with size two highlights the crosshair in almost maps, no matter the map’s color palette.
The crosshair ranked third is quite similar to the one Natus Vincere’s Denis “electronic” Sharipov is currently using. This small and compressed crosshair is ideal for players who think a dot is too inaccurate and a full cross is too large. The blue colour is also a great pick as no map in the competitive pool clashes with this bright tone.
Many players still prefer the default crosshair on style 4, which provides a giant size, but remains stable while shooting. It can be tricky to practice on maps like Nuke, where small corners can get buried under long lines. The fifth-ranked pink size two with zero gaps is also widely used by CSGO players.
