Mortal Kombat 1 is finally reviving the storied fighting game franchise, and Netherrealm Studios is giving avid fans a treat with the Kollector’s Edition.
Mortal Kombat is one of the biggest series in gaming, with each edition massively outselling almost every other fighting game by a wide margin. This is especially true for celebrities, and the announcement of Mortal Kombat 1 has reinvigorated the community. This will be the first Mortal Kombat game released since MK11 in 2019, and fans have had plenty of time to save up for the most expensive version.
Here’s all the stuff included in the Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat 1.
The Kollector’s Edition costs $250 and includes all of the following goodies.
Everything up to the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin is included in the premium edition of the game, but the first major upgrade is more than double the starting in-game currency.
The real draw of the Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition is the massive Liu Kang sculpture that comes with it. The figure features the protagonist flanked by two spiraling dragons. Coming in at more than a foot tall, the sculpture also features glow-in-the-dark detailing, though images of it in action are yet to be released.
If fans still want an upgraded experience but don’t mind skipping out on the statute, they can opt for the premium edition for $110. This version of the game includes all of the digital goods from the Kollector’s Edition while costing half as much. Early access to the game and DLC characters represent the bulk of the deal, though note that your starting Dragon Krystal count will be notably lower.
