The M4A1-S is the best CT rifle money can buy, but the best skins for the gun range from a dollar to basically being priceless.

Even after the recent nerfs, the M4A1-S is still the best defensive rifle for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players who value precision. Lower-skilled players will start switching back to the M4A4 for its larger magazine and reserve ammo.

That means that dropping serious cash on an M4A1-S skin now is still an option for those who want to hit long-range taps. Besides, even if the M4A4 ends up on even footing with its silenced alternative, the M4A1-S will still eventually swing back on top eventually. Here are the five best skins for the M4A1-S in all of CSGO.

The best M4A1-S skins in all of CSGO

The M4A1-S costs $2,900 to buy in-game, but good skins for the weapon can either be way cheaper or even more expensive. There are plenty of options at every price point and M4A1-S skins may drop in price thanks to the recent nerfs. Still, here are the five best M4A1-S skins across all price points.

5. Night Terror ($5)

A recent introduction from the Dreams & Nightmares case, the Night Terror is the best M4A1-S skin for CSGO players on a budget. A Factory New Night Terror goes for around $5 on the Steam Market. There are very few cheap M4A1-S skins, but the Night Terror is the only one to feature a graffiti-style pattern. The disturbing imagery and writing definitely fall into the nightmares side of the collection.

4. Decimator ($23)

For players who prefer a splash of color, the Decimator is an excellent budget choice. The M4A1-S skin combines a striking palette of blues and purples with an eye-catching logo above the magazine. The distinct color palette also makes it a great platform for holographic stickers. Factory New Decimators can be had for just under $23. For players on a real budget, the Battle-scarred version still looks pretty solid for just $10.

3. Mecha Industries ($55)

A red from the Gamma case, the Mecha Industries is a poor man’s Printstream. The black and white colors mix and match with streaks of red to create a fascinating skin that never gets old. The fact that it’s essentially a cheaper version of a much more expensive skin helps drive the Factory New price down to just $55. It’s an investment, but few skins stand out more against the grainy landscapes of Dust 2 and Mirage.

2. Printstream ($281)

Speaking of the Printstreams, any list of the best M4A1-S skins in CSGO has to include it. A favorite among professional players, the Printstream’s pearlescent finish is unique among M4A1-S skins. High demand and a unique paint job make the Prinstream a high-tier option at $281. Pictures don’t do it justice, and the true beauty of the skins is only visible in-game. The Prinstream is also an incredible platform for sticker crafts and Katowice 2014 stickers look right at home on it.

1. Knight ($1,800)

The absolute best M4A1-S skin in CSGO has to be the Knight. The Cobblestone collection is famous for its covert AWP | Dragon Lore, but the pink from the set is still prized among collectors. The pattern on the Knight is relatively simple compared to similarly priced options, but the metallic bronze and black immediately flip a switch in any CSGO skin fanatic’s brain. Potential tradeups to a Dragon Lore push more Knight sales off of the Steam Market, but recent numbers put it around $1,800.

Welcome to the Jungle is the most expensive M4A1-S skin in CSGO

If you’re looking to spend as much money as possible on an M4A1-S skin, the Welcome to the Jungle is your weapon of choice.
