Our Paris Major Pick’ems predictions are off to a great start, but the legends stage is what truly separates the best from the rest.

The first phase of the final CSGO major is over, and the Paris Major is about to enter the legends stage. This is the crux of the event, where the top 16 teams will whittle down to just eight. If you bought the Paris Major pass, it’s also a chance to upgrade your coin and earn some free souvenir gun skins.

WIN.gg previously earned platinum at both Antwerp and Stockholm, and if you followed our advice for challengers, you’ve already secured a silver Paris coin. Without further ado, here are WIN.gg’s Pick’ems for the Paris Major legends stage.

Our Pick’ems for the Paris Major legends stage

Legends stage Pick’ems for the Paris Major

First up is which team will go 3-0. It’s tough to pick, but we think that G2 Esports will continue its flawless streak. Despite a rough patch at the RMR, G2 is still a common favorite to win the entire event. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov currently sports the highest HLTV rating of the event at 1.49, and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač isn’t far behind at 1.29. We expect big things from G2 in Paris, and we’re willing to bet a gold coin on it.

Our starting pick to advance is Apeks. This team didn’t enter as a common pick to go far, but the squad managed the most impressive run of the challengers phase, defeating Team Liquid and paiN Gaming to advance.

ENCE had a similar run, surprising fans by going 3-0 in challengers over OG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and FaZe. Pavle “maden” Bošković earned a 1.19 rating in its decisive win over FaZe, showing that he can perform under pressure. Continuing on, Natus Vincere is practically guaranteed to get a spot in the champions stage. This squad has already achieved one major victory, and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev is definitely hungry for the final CSGO major championship. This event will cap off his legacy as the GOAT of CSGO, so he won’t go out with a whimper.

Na’Vi’s longtime rival FaZe Clan is also very likely to advance. The mixed European team dominated the challengers stage, going 3-1 in the group stage with a particularly strong performance from Robin “ropz” Kool. Heroic is an easy choice to advance. The team has been cursed with second place finished all year, but most teams would kill to be in that position. The Paris Major is the perfect chance to break that curse, and the number one HLTV-ranked team is sure to reach the playoffs.

Team Vitality is in a similar position, and the squad is still carrying a ton of momentum from a dominant championship at IEM Rio last month. A major victory would give Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut a better chance to replace s1mple as the GOAT of the game.

Our last pick is Team Liquid. While the North American juggernaut has somewhat struggled in the past, it has reached the podium in several recent events like IEM Katowice and the Blast American Showdown. The squad has an undeniable pedigree that should see it make the playoffs of the final CSGO major.

Lastly, and indeed least, is our pick for which team will go 0-3. It’s not an easy choice, but Monte failed to impress in the challengers stage. While a contender in the tier two scene, the squad is punching above its weight class and will start with a tough matchup against FURIA.
