Teamfight Tactics Fates 2 is set to undergo some very significant changes in patch 11.4.

Though the full patch notes have not been released, Riot listed off which champions and synergies will be getting tweaked in patch 11.4. Regardless of how extreme these changes end up being, the game is going to be changed in a big way by the end of next week.

Check out the tentative changes coming in Patch 11.4.

TFT patch 11.4 features rework to Chosen system

The biggest change is a rework to the Chosen system. Chosen units are integral to TFT Fates 2, giving players a single two-star unit that counts as two champions for a single synergy. This system was a key part of strategizing a composition, with certain builds requiring Chosen units to be completed. It’s uncertain what will be reworked about Chosen units, but this could leave every TFT player throwing out their playbooks.

There is also a slew of buffs and nerfs to synergies and specific champions.

A number of the most popular carries in TFT Fates 2 are set to be nerfed in patch 11.4. The list includes Kayle, Katarina, Fiora, and Shyvana. Any builds related to Divine or Duelist units are also set for a big hit, with Nasus, Wukong, and Yasuo set to take nerfs. Brawler, Elderwood, Warlord, Assassin, and Divine synergies are also taking some hits.

On the flipside, Cultists and Fabled-Vanguard compositions are all set to make gains.

Cultists was already a strong composition for TFT Fates 2, but the build faced consistency issues due to its reliance on rolling a Chosen Cultist unit in order to summon the final form of Galio. Cultists are set to receive a boost to their synergy and no Cultist champions are set for a nerf.

Players that roll with the Fabled-Vanguard composition are likely to be the biggest beneficiaries of all, though. The build is set to gain some extra early game potency with buffs to Nautilus and Braum, while all three Fabled units in Nautilus, Cho’Gath, and Neeko are set for buffs. This is great news for this composition, as Fabled-Vanguard was underwhelming even with favorable RNG.

When will League of Legends patch 11.4 come out?

League of Legends patch 11.4 is set to launch on Thursday, February 18.

Alongside the changes to TFT Fates 2, there will be changes to Summoner’s Rift with big nerfs to Kai’Sa and buffs to Talon and Veigar. Make sure to check out WIN.gg’s preview of patch 11.4.
