“I WAS HERE!”

That was the chant typed by fans around the world as Team Liquid streamer Ashkan “TF Blade” Homayouni reached Masters on Korea’s League of Legends servers.

Once TF Blade reached this mighty accomplishment, fans begged him to “say something,” waiting impatiently for him to make a statement about reaching one of his toughest goals to date. TF Blade finally popped on to the screen and began talking, but he was muted. Despite his followers typing “muted” over and over again in the chat, TF Blade remained silent, so nobody will ever know what he had to say.

One of TF Blade’s Twitter followers congratulated him on the accomplishment, but told him he was muted for a good 10 minutes.

According to Reddit users, TF Blade was experiencing quite a bit of delay, so he wasn’t even able to know he was muted until it was too late.

That didn’t stop TF Blade from celebrating on other social media platforms. On Twitter, TF Blade  said, “LETS GO LETS GO LETS GO LETS GO GO GO.” He then shared a screenshot of him reaching Masters on one of the toughest League of Legends servers in the world.

TF Bladeconquers solo queue, hits rank one around the world

TF Blade has been on a journey to become the number one ranked League of Legends solo queue player on the planet. So far, the streamer has reached number one on several servers, including NA, EUW, and EUNE. But the global adventure hasn’t been all fun and games.

TF Blade failed to become number one on Turkish servers after players continuously stream sniped and trolled the popular streamer. Near the end of 2019, TF Blade was also banned from Turkish servers for abusive language after falling victim to one too many players sabotaging his progress.

“I cannot believe it. I prefer to be banned than play in this region. Maybe after 14 days I’ll come back. Or maybe I’ll just say I don’t need the rank one,” TFBlade said.

For a while, fans feared that Team Liquid would drop the streamer for his offense. But the organization stood by TF Blade, deciding not to go forward with any type of public punishment.
