Team Liquid just announced a fan program it’s calling Liquid+.Â
Currently in open beta, Liquid+ is a platform that celebrates the 20-year-old organization’s fans by rewarding them for interacting with the organization and its teams and players on social media. By leaving comments on Discord, watching Twitch streams, and retweeting tweets, Liquid+ participants will earn points that can be redeemed for in-app currency, event tickets, Team Liquid swag, and “tailored experiences with Team Liquid personalities,” including playing games with pro players.Â
“Our fans have given us so much over the past 20 years and Liquid+ is how we start giving some of that love back,” Team Liquid CEO Victor Goossens stated in the official press release. “We want Liquid+ to be a place for fans to feel great about their Team Liquid pride and earn cool rewards for doing it.”

Liquid+ will also be introducing Weekly Quests and Experiences around “major Team Liquid events and tournaments.” These come with “elite prizes” like signed posters and limited apparel.Â
Team Liquid’s director of fan management, Boudewijn “Gluon” Kryne, said that Liquid+ has been 18 months in the making. For the team behind the program, it’s been about creating a high-quality experience for fans that’s never been done before. Senior copywriter Indu “Xaafira” Reddy described it as “fun to work on” but also fun to use.Â
“Every time you check it, you see the points you got, a new streamer to watch, find an Experience with a giveaway you can’t wait to join. There’s been a lot of effort to make sure it’s got the right amount of ‘do what I already do for points’ and ‘I’m charged for Liquid give me more’ options where both feel rewarding,” Xaafira said.Â
Liquid+ sign-ups are currently limited during the beta. While Team Liquid’s priority is to “get as many people signed up as possible,” only a certain number of people can join until they scale up the beta.Â

The app was warmly received upon launch, to the point where its website crashed as people flooded to sign up.
