Who is the character in the tank? This is probably, the most asked question by fans after the latest trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s release date is fast approaching. Every day we get more information about one of the most anticipated titles of the year, but also more questions.

In one of the recent trailers, one figure inside of a bacta tank caught the attention of the fans. There are plenty of theories about the identity of this character, but let’s start with what we know for sure.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor tank

From the appearance and voice, we know the character is being played by Australian actor Cody Fern. He is better known for his work in American Horror Story. Fern is not credited on the game’s IMDB page, but this could be just to keep the mystery going.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, who is in the tank?

Some fans have speculated that it could be Darth Momin in the bacta tank. Darth Momin is a humanoid Sith Lord who was defeated by the Jedi Council and potentially imprisoned en the tank for centuries.

Other theories point at Ren as possibly the mysterious character. Ren is the leader of the Knights of Ren, an enclave of dark side warriors. One of the most notorious members of the enclave is Kylo Ren.

Ren fits the physical description with gray hair, blue eyes, and light skin. It could be an interesting twist to incorporate Ren into the game.

The final theory, and probably the most viable, is that we are encountering a new character created for the game. The Jedi games have added new characters to the canon and also integrated non-canon characters into the story. A new character is not out of the realm of possibility.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
