Waluigi Pinball is one of the most beloved tracks in Mario Kart history, and it recently became available in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Here’s how to add Waluigi Pinball and how to master it.

Waluigi Pinball is a classic track that dates back to the DS. It was originally the third race course of the Flower Cup in Mario Kart DS, which was released in 2005. With beloved music and flashy graphics, it quickly became a fan favorite, which is why it returned to Mario Kart 7 as the fourth course in the Banana Cup and then in Mario Kart Tour.

Is Waluigi Pinball in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

Back by popular demand, Waluigi Pinball was part of Wave 2 in the Booster Course Pass in 2022, the fourth and final course in the Turnip Cup.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Waluigi Pinball is inspired by its appearance in Mario Kart Tour but with improved graphics. You’ll see Shy Guys, Toads, Yoshi’s, and more watching you race. You’ll also see a helicopter at the end of the course, flying behind the large image of Waluigi.

Does Waluigi Pinball have any shortcuts?

One secret trick in Waluigi Pinball can be found in the 150CC and 200CC versions.

At the start of the race, drive super fast by hitting every boost and perfectly drifting. If you do this, you can outrun one of the pinballs on the track. When you reach the inside of the pinball machine, you’ll only need to avoid one pinball, which makes the lap a lot easier right at the start. This will give you a head start on your opponents.

Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts in Waluigi Pinball. This has left a lot of racers disappointed with the track this time around. Still, there’s no denying that the vibrant track is a lot of fun to race on and simply look at, cementing it as an iconic track in the Mario Kart franchise.
