Riot Games has officially turned a long-standing fan meme into reality. Riot is finally introducing the K/DA Gragas skin in League of Legends. After years of community jokes and requests, the fan-favorite champion Gragas is set to join the K/DA universe, a move that players have eagerly anticipated.

The K/DA skin line, introduced with champions like Kai’Sa, Akali, Evelynn, and Ahri. The skin line became an instant hit when paired with the release of the “Popstars” music video. This success sparked the creation of additional themed groups such as True Damage and Heartsteel. As players embraced the K/DA popstar theme, they began imagining other champions in similar roles. Fortunately, this included Gragas, a surprising choice, given his bulky physique and rough demeanor.

Riot’s September 23rd developer update officially confirmed the addition of “Music Fan Gragas” to the K/DA lineup. The skin features Gragas in a full popstar-inspired outfit, complete with his iconic exposed belly. One of the most entertaining aspects of the new skin is the recall animation is Gragas performing the iconic dance from the “Popstars” music video, a detail LoL fans have humorously suggested for years.

While the price of the skin hasn’t been confirmed, it’s expected to be around 1350 RP. This is a typical cost for skins that feature updated visuals and sound effects. The K/DA Gragas skin will be available for purchase between October 8 and October 24 during the LoL Player Days event. Proceeds from sales will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. Riot will match the donation by three times the amount, making this release not just fun, but charitable as well.

With Gragas stepping into the K/DA spotlight, fans of both the champion and the skin line will finally see one of the most requested memes in League of Legends come to life.
