It’s been rumored and then confirmed for a while now that Revenant is getting a massive rework in Season 18 of Apex Legends.
With the fast approach of Season 18, players have started to learn more about the new content and changes that are coming to the popular battle royale. The biggest discussion, however, has been around Revenant. Instead of getting a new legend, developers have promised a big rework of the sinister yet underwhelming robot.
Revenant and his twisted lore with Loba has pretty much carried the backstory of Apex Legends. But when it comes to the gameplay itself, Revenant is often looked over for his subpar kit, which doesn’t fit into the current meta. Developers are hoping to change that in Season 18, and now his rework has been revealed.
After months of speculation about possible leaked abilities, developers have shared what changes are coming to Revenant.
Revenant is now a Skirmisher, which is a legend class focused on mobility and sneaky gameplay. Check out his new abilities:
Apparently, there will be no ultimate that leads to a 1v1 duel, which may disappoint a lot of Apex Legends fans that have been hearing about this deadly ultimate for the past few months. There’s also no wall-running-focused ability mentioned.
Still, Revenant seems a lot more useful with his mobility-focused gameplay rather than relatively disrupting enemies.
