Warner Bros.’ MultiVersus is making quite a splash. Now, popular rapper Wiz Khalifa wants to be in the unique crossover fighter.Â
The fighter genre of video games is packed with thrilling, competitive titles. But, MultiVersus’ core concept is in its own lane. Warner Bros.’ fighter plucks heroes and villains from top franchises, tossing them to duel in a whacky multiverse. The theme itself had the community on its toes, launching with a blockbuster release.
In September, the MultiVersus craze died a sudden death, but celebrities are still enjoying it. Wiz Khalifa has expressed his wish to make the cut in MultiVersus’ uber-competitive roster.
Popular American Rapper Wiz Khalifa has been playing MultiVersus, and he’s also found his primary fighter. The artist revealed that he’s been experimenting with Taz’s kit and it’s been a success. In his word, he’s a “beast” at running the cunning bruiser. However, his current favorite fighter is Shaggy.
Clearly, Wiz has invested plenty of time in MultiVersus to understand the game, and he seems to like it a bit too much.Â
In response to MultiVerus’ tweet, the rapper said he wants to be a playable fighter in the game. The current roster mostly comprises fictional characters like Batman, Harley Quinn, Garnet, and more. LeBron James is the only real-life character in MultiVersus, which means Wiz making the cut isn’t completely out of the equation, considering he’s previously signed a record deal with Warner Bros.Â
MultiVersus’ recent dramatic slump is alarming, but interest from notable streamers and celebrities is a silver lining for a game lingering on the verge of being a fad. It’d be interesting to see how the developer capitalizes on pop culture and trends to revitalize its fighter title.Â
Bruisers are as deadly as Assassins, if not more. Characters in this class have all the no-nonsense abilities required to end enemies quickly. Here are all the bruisers in MultiVersus.Â
