Poppy Playtime best toys: Top 10 Poppy Playtime toys ranked
Poppy Playtime has many toys, but some of them have left a mark with their heartbreaking backstories and personalities. Here’s our top 10 list of Poppy Playtime toys.
Playtime Co. is a vicious company with a history of brutality and heartlessness. For this reason, it’s unfair to hold grudges against the toys, even the evil ones. However, some of the toys remain soft and kind despite being turned into evil creatures by Playtime scientist Harley Sawyer.
These are our top Poppy Playtime toys in terms of appearance, personality, and backstory.
1- CatNap
We understand that some players may not like CatNap — or even hate him. But let’s not forget he’s just a seven-year-old child manipulated by The Prototype and eventually stuffed into a giant plushy.
CatNap’s purple mascot is criminally cute, but that’s not why he’s our number one. In Chapter 3, the purple feline tries to chase us out of the factory multiple times so that he won’t have to carry out Prototype’s orders and kill us. This shows that he was never wholly evil.
2- DogDay
DogDay is the leader of the Smiling Critters after CatNap goes insane in his love for The Prototype. He’s calm, collected, and intelligent, and for all these reasons, DogDay actually tries to help us in Chapter 3. Unfortunately, his rebellion cost him never-ending torture at the hands of The Prototype.
3- Huggy Wuggy
Huggy Wuggy is the cutest toy out of all. Who doesn’t love big, squishy hugs? He was another one of Prototype’s victims, influencing him to escape PlayCare. While he does try to kill us in Chapter 2, we don’t blame him for going insane in an abandoned factory.
4- Poppy
Poppy could easily secure number one for her consistent allegiance and guidance throughout almost all chapters. But something about her loyalty is just off. For example, why was she the only toy that Prototype decided to save during The Hour of the Joy? But since she’s our friend, she definitely deserves a spot on our Poppy Playtime best toys list.
5- Kissy Missy
We don’t have a lot of interactions with Kissy Missy, but the few we have are all positive. During one of the missions in Chapter 2, the pink toy helps us open a door and walks away without harming us. Inside the crazy house that is PlayCare, that’s a big deal, putting Kissy Missy on our top 10 list. Not just that, she risks her life in Chapter 3 while trying to save us and Poppy.
6- Mommy Long Legs
Mommy Long Legs, similar to Huggy Wuggy, is another character who’s in the grey area when it comes to loyalties. She did give us a difficult time, but she was equally scared of The Prototype.
7- Bunzo Bunny
Lore-wise, Bunzo Bunny isn’t really a special toy, but we appreciate that his puzzle wasn’t violent. Unlike other toys, Bunzo doesn’t directly threaten to kill us.
8- Bron
Some may call Bron a villain since he’s the only toy who’s not an orphan but a Playtime employee. But you can’t help but feel terrible for him. Bron lost his memories and was bullied and tortured by fellow toys when he entered PlayCare. After spending his life in a solitary cell, he still didn’t hurt us in Chapter 3. Also, he’s very cute.
9- Bobby Bearhug
We like Bobby Bearhug simply because she’s cute and shaped like a teddy bear. Bobby Bearhug is also one of the critters who refuses to partake in Prototype’s plan and suffers his wrath.
10- Boxy Boo
Boxy Boo is straight-up a monster and a killing machine. But, in one of the VHS episodes, we discover that the poor toy was trained to be this way, making us feel sorry for him. He could, however, use a better appearance and toy design.
