Pokimane officially quits OTV Rust server due to frustration
Pokimane officially quits OTV Rust server due to frustration
OfflineTV’s private Rust server has been taking the streaming community by storm. But it’s now losing one of its biggest personalities, Imane “Pokimane” Anys.
50 of the largest content creators got together to create a huge Rust server the day after Christmas. It quickly became one of the most talked about happenings on Twitch, especially after streamers such as Felix “xQc” Lengyel brought new drama to it. xQc
recently apologized
after his behavior led to Sugoi “Ash_On_LoL” Ash receiving death threats from xQc’s fans. Game Awards winner Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has also threatened to leave after the continued drama.
Just six days into the Rust server’s creation, Pokimane is officially leaving.
“I’m just not gonna get back on because I’m not having a good time,” Pokimane explained on a recent stream.
She then explained that she doesn’t “have the energy” to play this type of game, growing frustrated with the number of times she’s died from radiation. Pokimane said the game was “too much” and the server “wasn’t fun.”
After wishing her followers a Happy New Year, Pokimane said she’d probably stream chess puzzles soon as she continues to figure out what to play after leaving Rust. With a laugh, Pokimane noted that at least the chess puzzles are fun.
Pokimane confirmed the decision to leave Rust and start playing chess in a January 1 tweet. She also considered going back to playing Valorant.
The popular content creator followed up by telling her fans that she’d consider playing Rust again. But she would only consider the game if a PvE-oriented server was created. Her fans agreed that the 50-streamer server needed to be “split” since some streamers were much more competitive than others, and this caused an uncomfortable divide.
think it’s time to go back to valo / continue learning chess

Is Pokimane single?
It’s been rumored that Pokimane has been, or is in, a relationship with a variety of streamers and YouTubers, including CallMeCarson. But so far, nothing has been publicly confirmed.
Is Pokimane a millionaire?
Pokimane’s net worth has never been officially confirmed, although Pokimane was recently open about the monthly cost of keeping her channels up and running. She also recently
limited donations to a $5 cap, which has many believing she’s well off enough to get away with such a cut in donations. Some say her net worth is set at about $1 million, but it’s impossible to truly know without her opening up on her finances.
