xQc wants to stop causing drama and throwing shade at streamers
xQc wants to stop causing drama and throwing shade at streamers
Popular variety streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel is under a lot of fire for his Rust shenanigans. In response, he has promised to turn a new leaf going into the new year.
His toxicity and rudeness have been the talk of the live streaming community as of late due to his uncaring gameplay on a Rust server that is host to a wide variety of popular streamers. It seemed that no streamer was safe from his treachery when he was playing on the Rust server, which was created for friends of popular streamers such as Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, and Imane “Pokimane” Anys, among many others.
“I will just stop cross chatting in other people’s chat and throwing shit and shade at other streamers,” xQc said to his Twitch viewers.
Why is xQc in so much hot water?
The most popular clip of his discourse while playing Rust is one involving a smaller streamer, Sugoi “Ash_On_LoL” Ash. xQc asks her to “be useful for once and put some fucking wood in the fire place.” The comment did not go over well with her and she unleashed a slew of insults at him. The next day, Ash_On_LoL commented that xQc’s fans were issuing her death threats.
Now that the drama has taken over the Twitch and livestreamer community, xQc seems to be backtracking a bit. He released a tweet apologizing for his behavior, citing that his competitive nature overtook him and he was rude to non-pvp players.
THE OTV RUST SERVER IS TOO FUN THATS ALL I THINK ABOUT. MY COMPETITIVENESS OVERWHELMED ME AND I WAS RUDE TO NON-PVPERS. TOMORROW WERE GONNA DO BETTER AND TEAM ROCKET WILL TAKE OVER

xQc is no stranger to drama
Most recently, xQc was even banned from Twitch after he cheated while playing Fall Guys during a GlitchCon 2020 Twitch Rivals event. He has been permanently banned from League of Legends and banned multiple times in Overwatch. He was even suspended from the Overwatch League while playing for the Dallas Fuel for four days for making homophobic comments about a fellow OWL player on Twitch.
xQc has asked his moderators to start banning people who cross chat during other streamers Twitch streams, and has promised that he will stop throwing shade at other streamers. Considering that his boisterous personality has long been a part of his Twitch streams, fans will have to wait and see if anything comes of it.
