The legendary skins were revealed in the September 13 Overwatch League broadcast. D.Va’s skin represents the Asia region. She has platinum blonde hair and a blue body suit. Her mech is neon blue with gold details, including tiny gold wings. Reinhardt’s legendary skin represents North America. His armor is made up of wood and copper with glowing neon green accents.
How to get the OWL All-Stars skins
The Overwatch League All-Stars event is taking place over two weekends. Players from the Asia region will compete on September 26 while North America-based players will play on October 3. Voting for the All-Star players has been closed, but the participants have not yet been revealed.
OWL fans can earn League Tokens by watching these live matches on the Overwatch League website, mobile site, or app. According to Blizzard, viewers earn five League Tokens for every hour spent on those platforms watching live matches.
“Your viewing time is tracked continuously, so if you watch 30 minutes in one session and return later for another 30 minutes of viewing, you’ll get credit for that total accumulated hour,” developers explained.
The League Tokens will become available on viewers’ Battle.net account after each hour of watching. The League Tokens can then be used within Overwatch on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
To earn and redeem League Tokens, OWL fans must create or log into their Blizzard account on Overwatch League’s website or app. During the All-Stars matches, view the live stream on those platforms.
Unfortunately, this promotion is not available to OWL fans in Japan or other countries. Learn more about their rules and eligibility requirements here.
The response to the two legendary tank skins was mixed, per usual. Some said that “useless tanks” were getting skins. Others were relieved to finally see tanks get some attention, like Houston Outlaws.
In fact, most OWL teams were quite excited by the All-Stars skins this year.
