Even though he has left the game, Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff still can’t stop thinking about how frustrated he is with Call of Duty Warzone’s anti-cheat system.

Nickmercs used to be one of CoD Warzone’s biggest streamers but he recently left the game behind for Apex Legends, another battle royale that he felt had more potential and was more fun to play. Even still, Nickmercs couldn’t help but remind fans why Warzone has become even worse since Warzone Pacific dropped.

Nickmercs confirms hatred for CoD Warzone on Twitter

Nickmercs left Warzone when it switched from Verdansk 1984 to Caldera. This was one of the final straws for him, stating on Twitter that the new map “missed” while describing it as “trash.”

This was a tweet in response to the ModernWarzone account posting a screenshot on April 22 of Nickmercs stating that the game “sucks c—.” Nickmercs responded by doubling down on his opinion.

“Bro, you cannot look me in the eyes and tell me the game is not in shambles,” Nickmercs responded.

Nickmercs continued with his rant, stating that Caldera was “trash.” He added that Verdansk was “gold,” confirming to fans that the recent season update was what finally had Nickmercs sick of the battle royale.

Nickmercs also said that the game’s anti-cheat is practically an April Fools joke. Warzone being riddled with cheaters and hackers is not news. The free-to-play battle royale has been struggling with this issue since it was released, with competitive players even claiming that around 50% of matches include a cheater. This has led many pros and streamers to grow too frustrated with Warzone to play it.

It’s safe to say that Nickmercs won’t be leaving Apex Legends to return to Warzone any time soon.
