Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha is coming soon but that hasn’t stopped dataminers from leaking the remaining roster.Â
Marvel Rivals, a 6v6 hero shooter inspired by Overwatch, was initially unveiled with a confirmed roster of 19 characters, including all the iconic heroes from the Marvel Universe. However, the leaked information has thrown in some unexpected names, adding a new layer of intrigue to the game’s release.Â
According to the leak by Miller Ross on X, there are 20 more characters slated for the game’s official launch. This means Marvel Rivals will have a total of 39 characters over time. It’s unknown whether all of them will be available for the Closed Alpha, which goes live on May 10.
According to leaks, Jeff the Landshark is part of the hero pool in Marvel Rivals.Â
For those unaware, Jeff the Landshark is a standout Marvel character from the comic books. He’s a popular pet who’s been with Gwenpool, Elsa Bloodstone, Deadpool, and then Hawkeye. As evident from the name, he’s part land, part sea character.
While his abilities in Marvel Rivals are currently unknown, Jeff the Landshark will likely be a versatile shark with legs and the ability to breathe air. He may be a close-range menace since he is also equipped with sharp teeth.Â
Here are some other leaked Marvel Rivals characters:
While all these characters have been discovered in files data-mined, it’s unlikely they’ll all be available at launch. The Closed Alpha may only include the initially announced 19 characters who appeared in the Marvel Rivals trailer.Â
If you want to try out the heroes sooner than everyone else, here’s how to join the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha.Â
