Nemiga faces Espada in WINNERS League Season 3 Europe Finals
Espada took down KOVA 2-1 and Nemiga defeated SKADE 2-0. With those wins, these two teams are set to face off in the WINNERS League Season 3 Europe Division grand finals.
Both teams are strong contenders for the WINNERS League trophy, but Espada has an uphill battle against a Nemiga team that has been unstoppable throughout the regular season and playoffs. That said, Espada has pulled out some wins from tough opponents this season. Fans shouldn’t count them out.
Espada enters the WINNERS League Season 3 grand final with a solid 10-5 record over both the regular season and playoffs. While the team has improved over the course of the playoffs, they struggled occasionally.
Thankfully, Abdul “degster” Gasanov has hit all of the shots necessary to keep his team moving all the way to the finals.
Nemiga will have to contend with a powerful Espada roster consisting of the following players:
- Abdul “degster” Gasanov
- Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka
- Vladislav “FinigaN” Usov
- Robert “Patsi” Isyanov
- Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko
Nemiga are the favorites in WINNERS League Season 3 finals
Nemiga fought through fierce opposition to make the grand finals, facing off against a SKADE team that impressed throughout the season. Despite some impressive plays from SKADE’s Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov and Kostadin “rafftu” Turbinov, Nemiga continued to blaze its way through WINNERS League.
It wasn’t just one player that outperformed the rest, either. In Nemiga’s semifinal matchup against SKADE, no Nemiga player posted an ADR over 91. That sounds bad, but the lowest ADR on the team was 80. Additionally, the entire roster had ratings above 1.26 and KAST percentages above 77.
Nemiga is scary because the roster works well together and doesn’t have to rely on carry performances to win games. They are a combined 13-1 between the regular season and the playoffs, and are likely the last team that Espada wanted to face in the finals.
Those are all signs that the team is clicking as a unit and that makes Nemiga
in the the upcoming match.
Though teamwork is Nemiga’s strength, there was still plenty of room for big plays. Anton “boX” Burko’s impressively clean quadruple kill on Nuke was exactly what his team needed.
Nemiga will field the following roster in the WINNERS League Season 3 grand final:
- Alexander “mds” Rubets
- Igor “lollipop21k” Solodkov
- Rassim “Jyo” Valijev
- Anton “boX” Burko
- Anton “speed4k” Titov
- Yuriy “keep3r” Mikulchik (Coach)
The European region’s WINNERS League Season 3 grand final is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EST on Friday, January 24 on the official
WINNERS League Twitch channel.
